Just got one and used it for Thanksgiving Turkey, turned out great! Anyone else have one and have any good recipes? Really good not having to mess with the oil!
I had the gas one and loved it for turkey and chicken. Mine died last year after 7 or 8 years of sitting on my back deck in the weather. Currently have another on the wish list.
Ribs are great on the big easy. I cut down some metal skewers so they will fit in the cooker. Rub lightly with olive oil then your favorite rub / seasonings. The olive oil will give them a crispy bite
I simply brine the bird.....or if in a hurry I'll shoot it up with the Butterball or Creole Butter stuff and hit with a rub, foil the feet & wing tips and let it ride.
I don't use the mesh "lid" until near the end when I'm wanting to crisp the skin some more.
