Circle hooks catching eye

Anybody have problems with the circle hooks coming out of the catfish eye? I like that it hook at corner of mouth but sometimes it comes out of the fish eyes. Very disturbing to say the least.

Try a smaller circle

The only time I have it go through the eye are on small cats when I'm striper fishing. I would also say use a smaller hook if primarily catching small cats.

It's never bothered me cause I've never intended on throwing a catfish back. Ever.
