Does anybody know if H4831 and
H4831 Short Cut meters thrown charges the same? In other words, are they interchangeable?
Not sure if 1CC of one is the same charge as 1CC of the other either by weight or volume.
Very confused.

I can find data on H4831 but not H4831 SC for the cartridge I'm looking for.

they are interchangeable by weight. I think you might get more H4831SC by volume than you would of H4831.

My understanding is that the SC meters better. I am betting it will also take up less space and will pack tighter. I would test the loads if you swap to SC to make sure no differences.

yes, H4831SC has shorter kernels and you will get more of it in a powder measure by volume since that is how they work. If you adjust the weight of powder to throw the same weighed amount of H4831 it will be the same according to Hodgdon.
