Hey Yellow bass fisher.
Good morning, that is a very new title for me. Never had seen one until yesterday. Very pretty fish. I read some on them they are native to the Mississippi. They’ve been stocked other places and so prolific they take hold easy.

I’m very familiar with white bass and know about yellow bass but have never caught one that I know of. Give us a report on taste when you eat it please. @Batjack you too.

BatJack will file that report, he kept the fish we brought home.

We were discussing March/April is the Etowah run of whites with hybrids behind them. The boat launch for the Etowah is 10 minutes from my place. Think we’ll be chasing Etowah fish some.
