Brandon Bobo, a senior wildlife biologist for the National Wild Turkey Federation, explains how easily managing timber land for wildlife can bring significantly more annual revenue to property owners than just having land grow pine trees.

I see his point to a certain degree, but most people who own land are also hunters. Therefore, they don't lease the land out. Also, on my property(which I do not lease) I prefer a thicker undergrowth for deer. His example in the video looked great for turkeys though.
