European beetle mounts

For those that use beetles for their skull mounts, how many would you say that it’d take to do one or two deer skulls in around a weeks time? And what are the major benefits vs boiling? Thanks

Takes a colony in a controlled vented environment, plus feeding, to keep them alive. They like fresh meat.

Zero damage to bone, antlers, nasal cavities.
Produce a totally clean skull. Only thing left to do afterwards is degrease and whiten.
