Rambling around in the woods looking for a spot to sit and hunt from and saw this laying. Dooly Co, I reckon it’s chert. Approximate date of it would be nice if anyone knows.

Looks like a Pickwick. Mid Archaic. Very nice.

The stone is Coastal Plains chert with a very heavy patina.
