Not even to thanksgiving yet and a whole lot of hunting left to do this year… but I’m getting excited about how my property is going to hunt in 3-4 years.
it’s that time of year for ordering your trees and I’ve got 500 elite straight loblolly’s coming from GFC along with 20 oaks. I’m establishing a new funnel / travel corridor connecting my property to a larger timber tract. It’ll be 7 rows of pines with white and sawtooth oaks along the edge. Not a huge plantation- but a very purposeful and intentional one.
It’s always fun to make improvements to a property to adjust how animals use it … in your own favor.
