Weapon: Remington Model 7 7mm08
Shot Distance: 10 yards
Accessories Used: treestand
Weather: clear
Situation: On the edge of a sagebrush field area back off a big peanut field where the deer are feeding at night. There are oaks along the edge of the sagebrush field that last about 50 yards before you get to the big field. This deer was right on the edge of the sagebrush when I shot. This shot was right at dark and took out one shoulder and the heart and lungs.

Sex of Deer: Buck
Points: 7
Weight: aprox. 120
Time of Day: 8:30 am
Weapon: Marlin 30-30
Shot Distance: 20 yards
Accessories Used: Fixed trestand, Tarsel scent, Grunt call
Weather: 50 with slack wind
Situation: Got to the stand late (7:45) so was not very happy. Put out a little tarsel scent, and grunted a few times. Grunted again about 8:20 and 5 minutes later he came to investigate. As he approached he stopped at 20 yards looking hard in the direction I had grunted. I wanted to let him walk a little further so I would have a better shot, but he could have gotten behind my stand if I didnt shot. After about 5 minutes of no movement I took the shot and claimed my first buck. As a side note I dont think the scent had anything to do with it as he did not come from down wind. Nice first day of hunting

Hunter:Big A
County:Clarke
Sex of Deer:F
Points:
Weight:100lbs
Time of Day:7:15pm
Weapon:Ruger model M77 .270
Shot Distance:115
Accessories Used:Leopold Scope and a bookbag with a notebook inside to brace
Weather:Clear and in the low 70's
Situation:Hunting a gas line 4th deer I saw, Saw a small pieball the first one I have ever seen in the woods. Shot my deer twice the first time it was a little far back and it just stood there so the second shot folded her right where she stood. All 4 deer were does, wish the pieball was a little bigger. If I see it again I might have to take it out.
