Situation:Saw 5 that a.m. a small spike was chasing the first doe through a clear-cut. Could hear him grunting from 200yds. Ran her right to me. When I got down to look at her another doe came bouncing in right at me to 25 yds. Got two, now I'm a horn huntin' for the rest of the season. Must be a good stand my brother took a 126lb doe opening a.m. from the same stand.

SITUATION in a ladder stand overlooking a well used trail in a pine thicket.2 does traveling together dropped the smaller doe in her tracks.larger doe ran towards me and turned broadside,spine shot her.loaded them onto the 4wheeler rode into anothe spot to wait on the other guys and saw a doe and a small buck,they get to breathe a few more days.

Situation: This was the second spike that came through where I was hunting that morning. First one was smaller so I played with him with the grunt call for a while. He finally winded me and left the area. Second one was moving through pretty quickly. Grunted to get him to stop with a good broadside shot. The Speer did the rest.

Situation: Saddle on a hardwood ridge between 2 young clearcuts. Went in there about 8:30 and ran her and her fawn off. Got settled and heard a horn blowing from where I parked the jeep. I had guests so I got up and went back to see. It was my partner at the barn honking at his wife and children as he was leaving his house. He wasn't looking for me so I went back and in a little while she came looking for me. Bad decision. :)

Situation:SAW HIM COME OUT OF FOG ABOUT 715 THEN THOUGHT HE WA A DOE, BUT HE FED CLOSER WHILE I WATCHED, THEN AS HE RAISED HIS HEAD I FOUND OUT OTHERWISE. THEN THE WIND CHANGED AND HE TROTTED OFF. THOUGHT MY MORNING WAS DONE. THEN ABOUT 8:05 A DOE BUSTED OUT DOWN THE PLANTED TREE LINE ON MY LEFT,RUNNING AND PANTING, SHE CAME BY THEN RN INTO A MUD HOLE FOR A DRINK, THEN TO MY RIGHT ANOTHER DOE CAME OUT AND RUN DOWN THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FIELD GING AWAY PANTING. BOTH DOES HAD BEEN RUNNING A WHILE SEEMS LIKE.
THEN ON THE LEFT ANOTHER DEER CAME OUT AS THE FOG WAS LIFTING. HE RAN INTO THE FIELD AND LOCKED ONTO THE 1st DOES TRAIL THEN CAME DOWN THE LINE TOWARDS ME. I THOUGHT HE WAS ANOTHER BUCK. BUT HE WAS THE SAME ONE. HE WAS MOVING AT A GOOD TROT WITH HIS NOSE TO THE GROUND. I LET HIM GET CLOSE AND SHOT. HE CRUNCHED DOWN BUT NEVER STOPPED OR RAISED HIS NOSE. HE ONLY RUN ABOUT 120 YARDS, BUT IT TOOK 1HR:30 MIN TO FIND HIM.
WISH I KNEW HOW TO POST PICS, HE WAS KINDA NICE.

Situation: Buck Chasing Doe, Buck came over Ridge took a shot at him after i shot him he ran back down ridge at the same time doe came over ridge right at my blind shot her within 10 yards where she fell. Went back to check for blood trail on Buck.. All i found was a small bit of white belly hair believe i must have shot low :confused:
