Hunting hardwood creek bottom below two pine ridges. Let a doe get by me at 7:30, spooked when I tried to turn in my stand, Saw this doe coming down the creek. Nothing following her. She was relaxed and picking up acorns. She sniffed all around the bush that I had sprayed with deer lure. Took me a while to be sure she was not a "button". She went about 40 yards and piled up.Not another soul was on the lease this morning and thanks be for my four wheeler or I would have never got her up that ridge.
