Just saw this post. Deer was killed on my farm in Hancock. He was working a scrape line along a creek. We saw him 3 times last year but he never came in bow range. The extra year helped. He was scored by a taxidermist in Cartersville at 167 inches. Was the hunters first buck bow kill. Not a bad start for him.

about three years ago I started focusing more on getting one with my bow

This year I planned to stick with a bow—I’d never killed a buck with my bow.
