Do you need a boat to fish Heath Lake at Rocky Mountain PFA or are there places to bank fish?

Fished at Rocky Mount last year. The lower lake is what we fished as the boat / canoe rental is right there. They open abit late in the day ( 9 or 10 am ) as an fyi and the boat has to be back by about 6pm I think. Plenty of bank fishing at both lakes, but renting a John boat with an electric motor is the ticket. Think they also had canoes and kayaks.

There is some bank acces, but very limited. Look on Google maps
