Hens

Has anyone saw any hens that appears to be dwarfs. We saw 3 on 03-30-18 that was unusually small , it was odd to see that.

The way my eyes are getting in my 50's, crows look like teradactyls, and buzzards look like hens.

Those are "Jenny" hens probably. They are first year birds like jakes.

We saw so many buzzards the other day eatin road kill I asked my son if he wanted buffalo buzzard strips

I haven`t noticed any smaller than normal birds, but the turkeys we used to kill were smaller than what I kill now.

Seen some smallish hens running to a gobbler on the roost early this season. Jenny's sounds about right.
