How I set up my drowning rods

Yes I hope he gets those knees fixed and back to 100% so he can carry on the way he loves to. He and I seemed to hit it off from the start and form a bond at least on my end!

I'm glad you got some traps and drowning rods to work with. I guess my main advice, if you could call it that, would be to try to set up on really used runs without using any kind of lure. Sometimes that's not easy to do. But if you can find some runs that are wore out and set them, catch what you can, then use castor to catch any that's left it will make it a lot easier to get them all. Now I don't always follow my own advice there but it does depend on how many beavers I think is there. I love leaving a job feeling like there are no more beavers there. It is hard sometimes though when an "expert" has been there before you.
