How to scout and hunt turkeys when your half deaf.

I am deaf in my left ear and I have lots of high pitch ringing in my head.
I know all to well about loosing direction by sound. I can be in my own home and my wife calls my name and I have to ask where she is at.
I use to take my wife hunting with me back when she was able to walk and she could tell me where noises came from.
Others can also hear turkeys gobble that I can't / don't hear at all. I have a favorite spot that I can sit and call , I stay in that spot and I usually get lucky.
There has been no telling how many times I call a turkey in and him be behind me and I can't tell where he is at.
Same thing during deer season , If someone shot , I can not tell where the shot came from.
