It was a waiting game, but..

Read an article about night hunters using a ground blind with a comfortable chair so that they could get some sleep while waiting on the hogs. What made it work was a battery operated driveway alarm set up so that the hogs would walk into the beam which would make a sound on the receiver inside the blind. You can guess the rest.

With game cameras now, you can do the exact same thing with notifications. All though, it's hard to sleep through a hog eating or just moving around your blind. We shot one walking at 15 yards.

What firearms were y'all using?

We were using AR's, a handheld thermal and a green light.

Which is the craziest thing. I can mount a motion green light to the feeder and when it goes off, they run. Light them up with a green light from a distance and they don't go no where.

My buddy had the same thing happen with his feeder.
