Lanier 6 mile Eagle

Anyone seen that eagle nest at 5 six mile? Boating today I saw a single talltree in the water that looked like it had a nest at the top. Then the Eagle appeared, looked at us and flew around the lake. The tree had a wooden sign on it but I couldn't make out the words. Anyone know what it says?
I saw another eagle two days earlier around Tidwell. Pretty cool!

Beautiful birds , I see some occasional on West Point

Was out that way a couple weeks ago and my son said he saw an eagle, I figured it was an osprey. His eyesight is far better than mine, so maybe he did, definitely keep an eye out. They are making/ made a comeback in a lot of places. Several on West Point we’ve seen.

I see them on allatoona about 50% of the time.

Went back for a better look and it is an Osprey. One nest at 3 six mile and another at 5 six mile.
