Lost some massive trees

During Wednesday‘s storm, I lost three massive trees down by the creek. I have often marveled at their size, appreciated their beauty and majesty, and wondered about their age. The landscape of the creek has been forever changed.

I "liked" your post but really hate it. In my opinion trees are an asset to property, not a nuisance to be cut down at the first chance.

I hate it too. One live oak and a long leaf pine. They were probably at least 36” in diameter. It would take two people to reach around them. The creek bottom was flooded and I guess they just couldn’t hold on against the wind.

I love the old growth trees and I hate to see them go, sorry you lost them.
