A friend and I were up there yesterday and they have closed the roads at the first bridge . We ended up fishing the main river . kirby

Looks like the FS doesn't even know their own rds, that's not Poplar Stump rd.

The upper road is open I was suppose to go this weekend up there and camp but it did not work out!

I don't know what it is after it turns to dirt, but the paved part is poplar stump rd. FYI you can get to Low Gap from the top end, but it's about 10 miles of dirt road before you get to Low Gap...

Fished there last weekend and you can get to the first and second set of steps before the WMA check station. Talked to one fellow on the river who said the damage went on up a good ways. We tried walking the river channel and bank but really couldn't get past the bend in the river down behind the WMA check station. Total devastation!.

Talked to one fellow who opened the gate around lunch time. had his truck loaded with chain saws and said the damage was 2/3rds of the way up to Low Gap.

I'm sure the road will get cleared but I doubt the river will get any attention. Fishing there is messed up for a good while.
