Update: Forsyth County man indicted for allegedly shooting a bear while under the influence

Deputies arrested a Forsyth County man after he allegedly shot and killed a bear that had wandered into his yard in south Forsyth last month.

A guy in suburbia, a part of Forsyth County that is heavily developed with subdivisions and shopping centers, saw a black bear in his backyard. He went into the house, got a gun, and returned to find the animal leaving his yard. He shot it and killed it.

He was arrested and now he was indicted by the grand jury. PS he's also a previously convicted felon who should never have had a gun in the first place!
