Nesting Ducks

I have a few Mallards that hang around and noticed today one is nesting?

That seems earlier than usual -- kinda makes me wonder if you have Turkeys doing the same?

Maybe it's the warm weather we had last week.

Winter aint over with yet. I expect that there may be some early nesters, but that they wont lay eggs just yet. Unless they communicated with that dadburned groundhog

I have a pair of "?eastern wild turkeys?"(bought them at the feed store) and the hen has made a nest but hasn't layed eggs. the gobbler has breed her so it shouldnt be much longer. Idont know if they will lay eggs the same time of year as wild birds but i have been told they will.
