Turns out they do have deer on Mars!

The ir filter is stuck over in front of the camera lens. Being this is an ir camera the filter flips back and forth between day time color pics and night time infa red. If all your pictures day and night are like this then you could try smacking the camera against your hand to see if it will unstick it, try an update if the camera has that capability or return it if it’s under warranty
