Actually its regulated by BATFE and is a form 4 item like suppressors, SBRs and machine guns.

As an AOW akin to the old Marble Game Getter. Trick is making sure its registered as an AOW. AOW is $5 stamp vs. the traditional $200

Didn’t Bat Masterson have a cane that shot ? The ADA allows privileges/protection to people who use canes. That’s why the LA street gangs would carry them as weapons.

At some point way back when, someone invented the revolver, then the pistol, they are these things you can put in your pocket or waistband. I would go that route instead.
