Sounds like the start of Lake Placid.

It's for sure too cold there for one to survive long enough to get 7' long. Somebody had to wrangle that thing and turn it loose in the creek.

More that likely was bought as a hatchling. Where do you keep one to grow to 7'.

Yep. I'm sure it was obtained and kept illegally. I just wonder where someone would keep one to grow that big. They didn't keep it in a fish tank

It's not unusual to do DNA testing on such a foreign type animal. They did that here, when a cougar was seen on trail cam and then also wounded by a bow hunter. Proved it was indeed a Cougar.

So, I hope something similar is done with the carcass of this croc to hopefully figure where in the world it came from (pun intended..lol)...
