Paint shelf life

Pondering buying some sherwin williams paint and taking a couple yrs to paint house, maybe the rear in may, side in oct, front nxt may. Will the paint last that long in storage?

@hipster dufus you will be fine just seal the cans up proper. Paint sealed will last a lot longer than the year and change yer looking at.

I would buy some paint strainers to catch all the boogers and scabs between jobs. Other than that, keep it from freezing and it'll be fine.

Secure the lids and store paint upside down. Keeps air out
