Pre rut and Rut - North GA

I guess its time to ask again....when do you expect prerut to start, and rut to start.

Seems some folks are seeing mating already, while otehrs still see spotted fawns and batchelor groups. Seems to be a great variety across GA.

I've seen more scrapes than rubs this year.

Ideas?

A lot of bucks are still running together in forsyth county on my place.I am thinking the peak rut will be the same as any other year.NOV 19 .Give or take 4 days.If I was going to hunt my jasper county club for the rut.Well I have taken some good deer in the past between oct31-nov9.I think thats the peak there.This cool weather has had them moving really good.Lots of the bucks ARE READY NOW!!!!!Have been for a month.The does I've seen aint having nothing to do with them yet!
