PVC Pipe Leak!

I hit a PVC pipe at my well with my weed eater yesterday and it sprung a leak at an L. I need a quick fix til Monday when I can replace the L. I got the water turned off so it's no longer leaking but it's raining off and on here today. I'm thinking to smear a big gob of J.B. Water Weld around it.
Anybody got a better idea?

May depend on how bad the leak is.. might be better to grab a big umbrella and just get er done, repair may not take much longer than patch.? If u have to patch maybe tape/glue..

Put a piece of some type rubber and a hose clamp around it.

Could just use rain or shine glue and fix it right to start with.

Agreed. PVC is too easy to repair correctly. Throw a wrap of gorrila tape on it till you get back from the depot with the replacement parts and knock it out. PVC glue will set up in the rain or you can get the rain or shine stuff.

PVC glue will weld the leak closed for a temporary repair.
