Also may want to go to Madame Tussauds and see all the wax figures. The Queen’s there. Those figures are neat works of art.
Rented a car but in London don't. If it's not very low emissions you have to pay a daily fee for it to be in the low emissions zone. Not to mention driving here is crazy and there's little parking. Got a spot in a lot and just left it there. So paying to park also. Personally I think it's better to have one the other places we've been and yet to go, last night in London. Most people use the high speed train network. How are you getting around town?
Vehicle or mass transit?
@Roebuck do you happen to know where i might buy a couple nodules of chert? Be nice to have some and try to make a few points later. Pretty sure foraging about the countryside is frowned upon not to mention going through customs and trying to explain where it came from.

On the original list but time slips away. Gonna try to get the Nurse to Florence Nightingale Museum tomorrow as we leave London for 2 nights in Scotland. Also may want to go to Madame Tussauds and see all the wax figures. The Queen’s there. Those figures are neat works of art.

Looks like you caught a few U.F.O.s in a couple of those. I know you weren't anywhere near Randlesham... but...In Scotland now. Checked in.
From the train. As in everyday life you see all sorts of things but can't get a pic in time. Here's a few. Of course with my terrible camera.

My dad went to Scotland when he was in the Navy. Said it was a beautiful place. He's talked about this a few times.Sunrise was at 4:26 am. Sunset will be at 10:00 pm. Curtains aren't extremely thick so did make sleeping in a bit challenging but not too bad. Another tip. If visiting the UK in the summer make certain your hotel has aircon (AC). All ours in England did but it's not as common here. The hotel here in Scotland doesn't but the temps are lower. There's a fan in the room and the windows open. Only slightly so you don't feel someone could get in but enough to, coupled with the fan, bring in a nice breeze. High today of 70° and a low of 52° should be very pleasant. Traditional breakfast coming up at the hotel.
