Saturday night supper

My son and Mrs B put together a meal tonight. My son fried up some of the fish he caught last weekend, grouper and blackened snapper, he made up some mashed taters topped with cheese and bacon. Mrs B helped with the hushpuppys, rice and mac and cheese. He also roasted some cabbage and made up a spicy honey mustard to drizzle it with. It was pretty good

Bitter melon with pork hock and bagoong (fermented shrimp paste) on garlic fried rice. You have to have grown up eating it or you won't get it. You might even say it sucks.

Got me to thinking about my lil ole mama. She loved my fried venison.

Down here for a week at CSB..always have shrimp & grits 1st night..was most excellent!
