I have a Simmons Aatec too. It is a great scope. The glass is really good and I have shot beavers 15 minutes later than my cousin with his Leupold LR. I have killed several deer with this rifle and scope with 2 being in the rain.

Vortex scopes are good too, I have several of them. I really like the Vipers.

Had a Simmons 4x16x50 that I had to send back to Simmons for replacement.Bushnell now owns Simmons and honored my return.Sent me a The New Bushnell Engage 4x16x50...features outstanding and would recommend it highly.

Check out swfa and Athlon, both great for the money in my experience. Have maybe 10 of them. Stay away from the lower two tiers of Athlon, not nearly as good as the mid range stuff.
