SE Ga doves

Seems like once again we’re getting close to the heat of summer and talks about dove hunting. With public land options being sub-par here around Brunswick/Darien, I’m looking for options for pay hunts within 2 hours of here. I have absolutely no problem driving 70 miles and paying $100 if there’s birds and a chance for my 7 year old to see his old man miss some birds. I’ve attempted to plant a small field near the house but a late start on it won’t make it ready for September. Thanks!

It might be worth considering Ft. Stewart. The annual hunting pass is cheap so even if you only make it there a couple times throughout the year it is worth it. It has been hit or miss on the dove's there. Last year sucked, barely any birds. Year before last was pretty good. Opening day I had shot my limit within about 4 hours and missed plenty of shots also.
