Agreed. Never put celery on anything. Putting celery in something is a whole different thing. I hate celery but if you don't start a stew be sauteing some celery in the pot you have missed a good thing. Sauteing celery does something magical to it.

Again, never put celery in anything in any form or fashion. Celery is not made for human consumption!!!!???

I am saying this seriously-shanks braised and made into osso bucco over a bed of cheese grits is just about the best part of the deer. I wouldn't have believed it either, until I started making it. Absolutely melt in your mouth tender, and tasty.
