Went back to Cumberland Jack's for our last night in Gatlinburg, we both had the fried chicken, and tried the bread pudding for dessert, it was delicious. Going down to catch some more bluegrass at Ole Smoky Holler now.20230402_184724.jpg20230402_191145.jpg

Preparing for the week. Two deer roasts, one rubbed in Montreal seasoning and the other in a good spicy BBQ rub, smoked with cherry and hickory. Hotdogs made with local beef, pasta salad, and some good salty chips and pickled red onion and kraut for tonight's dinner specifically. Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned will be forthcoming.

Sunday Shrimps here….. NOLA style for lunch. Sautéed some in a pan, deglazed with amber beer, added garlic, a ton of w’shire, rosemary, bay leaves and creole seasoning. Let that boil down and then finished by melting in some alpha gal safe vegan butter. It’s not bad but not the real thing……. Served that up with some toasted French bread to sop up that sauce.

Tonight we had a conventional shrimp boil.
