I think the challenge is that the park doesn't go all the way down that far, so hiking down there is an issue. You have to have a boat and come up from the river or launch in the creek and float down. I don't think the park has an actual kayak launch but there may be a way to carry or roll a kayak to the creek from the parking area. Some really good fishing in SWC just before it spills into the hooch.

If you choose to get out in that creek and wade there at Factory Shoals, watch yourself.I think the challenge is that the park doesn't go all the way down that far, so hiking down there is an issue. Oh, that's right. I had forgotten. there is a low water dam on the creek that would prevent you from going up too far from the Hooch. You can see it on the Google Satellite mapsI’ve read that there’s a significant drop off from sweetwater to chattahoochee. Has anyone been down that way to verify?
I'd settle for about 30 of those good looking brim. Looks like pretty good fishing to me and no pests on jet skis or loud radios.
You seem to be a pretty sincere fisherman.I’ve been fishing across Sweetwater Creek, not the state park, yet. Anyone else fishing the creek, if so any tips/baits/ catches, post below.
I just started in various areas in Cobb/ Paulding

Since I'm too old to drive way out there on I-20 anymore, I'm posting this structure map I made out there many years ago.
When you get on the lake with it, you'll know what to do. (I used to go to just these spots on this map of mine and murder everything in the pond....all the way from brim, crappie, to bass.)
Give it a shot and good luck to you.
