That's why they call it fishing. I went to the spot we caught nice flounder last week on the same tide-nothing. Went to a place that was loaded with trout a couple of weeks ago-nothing. Fished a few new spots with no luck. I fished live mullet and a slew of artificial baits. The water temp was 83 and very stained after the full moon. My what a difference the moon can make on the inshore bite. I did spot a few nice reds tailing in the weeds, but could not get a bait to them.

Too close to the full moon ya think? I have to drive 4 hrs when I fish the coast. I try not to go 4 days either side of a full moon. I'm trying to learn all the little nuances of when's the best time to drive down and fish. If I was closer I would just fish without worrying about it!
