Yep I seen it, I knew it had to be a planet but wasn’t sure which one. Pretty cool

I've been camping in Gilmer for the past couple days and the sky has been great after the storm blew out. Had an excellent view of orion and the big dipper this morning, even got to see a shooting star while drinking my coffee this morning.

Venus was in conjunction with Spica, the brightest start in the constellation Virgo this morning on my way to the woods. It was exceptionally bright.

One morning, about this time last year, or maybe the year before, I was walking in the pre-dawn darkness to my tree stand. I noticed as I walked that I was casting a shadow on the ground even though there was no moon. I turned around and looked to the east and Venus was the brightest I had ever seen it. I checked the Night Sky app and Venus was in conjunction with two other planets, I think Mars and Jupiter. It was something to see.

Been enjoying the view last couple clear pre dawn mornings! The world is an amazing place when you take time to look around.

Load Google Skymap (or Sky Map) on to your smartphone and it will point out all the planets and stars right in front of you, so to speak. It syncs with your gps and you can hold it up to the sky and discover all kinds of planets and constellations. Cool app.
