Was found in Bleckley County, does it look cooked and/or worked?

I'm just trying to identify for someone else. It was found on a clay road in Bleckley County. Some say it was cooked chert, others not so sure. One person said some type of gneiss. It doesn't look exactly like chert to me. I wondered it if was rhyolite. I read where it can appear purple. I've see purple clay pretty often.

Yeah that's heat treated unless somebody carried some Alibates chert all the way here from the Texas Panhandle. That's the only stone I've seen naturally that color.
