Anyone a watch fan? Are there any forums that are for "normal folks"? Most of the ones I've found are just folks bragging about $5k plus watches.
I enjoy a little modding and light repair but most of the forums I've found are like asking asking for a rifle scope recommendation. "Oh if you're not spending $3K you may as well just get two sticks and duct tape them to your barrel".
I'm talking about run of the mill watches where it just makes more sense to replace the movement rather than pay for a service. Seiko watches are what I usually look at.
