Thanks for the reply. Was thinking turkeys or buzzards. Those are some huge turkeys!
Those have not been defeathered and frozen. They’re some very nice birds though. Thanks for the unintentional humor. Next time start off the sentence with serious questions and we’ll find humor with someone else.

My brother and his wife don't hunt; they feed any wild animals that come around their place. So for two years now they've had a flock of turkeys hanging out with them, and the three biggest Toms will follow him like he's taking a dog for a walk.

They like being with him.

The same three brave/aggressive males will follow me, but they'll be squawking instead of clucking contentedly. They'll not only follow me but spread out and surround me , and try to peck me on the legs or my butt if I turn my back to them!

So, I can say the last time I was involved in "turkey hunting" I was the one being hunted by three turkeys.

(Must be karma, due to the other turkeys I have killed with my shotgun in past seasons.)
