We should be good here. I hope so. My corn is about 4 inches tall now, and my buddy has about 400 acres of corn about 600 yards from me the same height. Plus about 1,000 more acres about two miles from here too.

Honey bees aren’t native to the Americas. The several varieties of bumblebees were what pollinated the trees and plants before honey bees were introduced by the colonists. You can enhance your native bees by building nesting sites which are stack of logs to provide nesting material. Place them in the shade near your garden. No worries as the ones you’re trying to attract are not aggressive and very seldom sting unless you attack them first

Hope that field corn doesn’t pollinate your family corn

I like to do a few different ones and have Cherokee Purple, Black Krim, Rutgers, Better Boy and some Baxter's Early Bush cherry. We like CP and BK for eating fresh, but I don't turn any of them down. The Rutgers are prolific and super easy to peel if you freeze them straight off the vine. The others are messy to peel after freezing and a lot of meat wants to stick around the green shoulders. Still good, just more work, so we like variety.

The Baxters are the first cherry tomato I've grown that had a lot almost golf ball size. I dehydrated a lot of them they were good rehydrated and used in a sauce, or with olive oil to add to recipes.

I started my seeds a little later on March 3rd this year. Last year they all got bigger than necessary and it was extra effort water and move in and out of the barn every day until time to put them in the ground. Not much return for the extra effort. Yesterday I moved maters and peppers to bigger containers from the starting trays that will hold 72 and loaded the trays on the trailer, since I'm still not sure I will get everything in the ground at once when it dries out later in the week. I almost was able to avoid repotting, but I went to the bigger pots in case I get delayed again with weather.

Black Krim, Hossinators and Celebrity. First try with Black Krim, but hoss and celebrity have been good producers in the past.
Liked the Cherokee Purple last year but they didn’t produce enough for me.
Transplanted a little early and my plants have gotten a little sunburnt, I think they’re gonna make it though.

Planted two Cherokee Purple and two Better Boys in my upper garden. Rest of the upper garden was devoted to gourds.
I’ll plant the garden by the house with three Rutgers and three Black Krims. I still have plenty in the freezer and canned from last year.

One of my better boy's leaves has yellow/white spotting on it. What do I need more/less of to fix this problem?

I am convinced that the lack of bees is what caused such low production last year. We had lots of blooms for all our vegetables but low output.
I waited muuuuch longer to do my first mowing this season, left alot of "weed flowers" for longer. It was a breath of fresh air to see all the honey bees in my yard. I've never seen so many. Hoping they stick close by for garden season!

Looking at the weather for north GA, looks like it could be pretty chilly on Sunday morning.

May be a mild case of sunscald, if they went straight out without much time or cloudy days to harden off before transplanting?
From looking online I thought sun scald as well.

They were outside for 2 days, then I brought them in for 3 when the temps dropped. Then planted them straight from inside.

You know what? Ive seen a couple folks mention it so i'll chime in. For the first time ever all my transplants got sun scald. All of em. I dont start my plants inside either. Not sure why it happened.
