Where to Buy Browning Stock.

I'm pretty sure Boyd's only has long-action A-bolt stocks. Richard's Microfit has them for both long & short. I put one on a 7mm-08 A-bolt several years ago. It required a ton of inletting finish work, but it was a good stock.
Richard's is the site 11P&Y mentioned
definitely can help you out... www.rifle-stocks.com

Have you checked with the Browning head office in UT?

After having a horrible experience with Richard's I searched the web to see if it was common. I wish I'd searched first. Its not uncommon to get an unusable piece from Richard's Micro-fit. They'll take it back if you haven't done anything to it and you can actually get in touch with them. The trouble is its sometimes impossible to find their error until you've made a partial inlet in the stock.

I'd try Elk Ridge for a thumbhole if I wanted another. Of course I wouldn't b/c I'd get a Joel Russo A5L instead if I really wanted a laminate stock. For synth, McMillan's are top of the line and not really all that expensive if you look at the total cost of getting a laminate on the rifle. I don't think they have a thumbhole, though.
