Youth hunt

I'm a out of state , but have a resident hunting license ( military) . I have a 12 year old nephew that wants me to take him hunting. Does he need a license of any kind? Looked on GDNR, but couldn't really get a clear answer.

He gets his own tags so sign him up on the app and "purchase" the free tags. If he's hunting with you it's all he needs. Good luck!

Here’s what I know..if they’re under 16 and a resident..they don’t need a license. If they’re out of state..I’d be doing some research.

From what I read and understand all non resident under 16 need is a free harvest record
