Sitting a rub line this morning, this will be the last sit of deer season for me. Fingers crossed on a giant.

In a low down hammock seat on a ridge in Calhoun co. This 8 just came by at about 10 yards and worked a scrape. Can’t tell anything from pic but this is about 20 yards

I am hunting from the recliner this morning. I have appointments today gonna keep me outa the field.
This guy came through at first light. I can see this area from my stand. The camera is about 25’ up a tree and covers a lot of area, problem is it is a little hard to make out details.this guy showed up on the lickin tree scrape. I saw him yesterday and if look closely you can see my climber on the ground in background

Seen a rat in my office this am, did not offer a clean shot. So I passed.

Completely quiet and not really liking this spot. Going to get down on sit on the ground downwind of a scrape I found yesterday.

Only saw 2 Squirrels and zero birds or deer. Got down at 11:00 and loaded up firewood on the porch before the rains get here. Will try again tomorrow morning.

We in Wilkes county looking for deer got to be big for jerky and sticks , y’all know what that means antlers any size or granny does

Finally back in the woods after 2 weeks or so. We need one more for the freezer but I may just watch this evening. Saw 6 does cross the field behind my house today around 11:30.

Two squirrels and a few birds so far, pretty quiet.

Ended up seeing one, fairly sure it was a doe.

Well didn’t like where I was sitting so decided to just start walking around 3:30. Found 4 scrapes within 200 yards of each other.

Sat in the middle and had 2 does cross about 15 yards from, 1 at the same distance behind. Closest I think I’ve seen a non-suburban deer that close so that was pretty cool.
