So season starts September! Not to early to plan. What rifles are we using?

Ruger American Compact-7MM-08
Or I may buy the
Henry Lever Action X in 30-30 before Sep.

I'll be hunting in TN this year, our gun season starts first weekend in October. I'll be carrying my Mossberg Patriot in 308 Winchester

Hunting with my bow this year in Canada.
Waiting on some 166g Shock Hammers to work up a new load for my Remington 673 in 300 saum. It’s a tack driver with 168 TSX, but I like the larger hollow point.
Can’t leave a good thing alone.

Same ole faithful. Very lightweight Remington model 7 threaded. Trijicon accupoint 1-6, silencers Omega 30, all coming together to put 168gr sierra gameking in the right spot.

For guns, I thought about getting a new rifle for this season, because I’m using a budget savage 30-06. But it’s done the job so I’m sticking with it.
Sir I think I speak for the forum when I grant you permission to get that new rifle!

Those budget Savage .30-06s are one of the best all-around rifles ever made, IMO.

Yea, probably the most bang for the buck you’re gonna get. They’re on the lighter side too.

Did the job this season. I’m not all that familiar with guns but practiced in the off season. I just figured at my beginner level it’s way more about the shooter than the firearm.
