Picked these up as well as some 117 grain Hornady interlocks. Gonna give them all a try and see what the rifle likes the best. Appreciate the recommendations.

That Barnes ammo looks nasty.
Hope it shoots well in your rifle. Deer gonna hate it.

I've heard it said you cant hide money LOL
Those four boxes real close to what I paid back in the day for everything I needed to start handloading. Dies and consumables included. Hang on to that brass man, you never know.
You were able to get a pretty decent selection. Hope they all shoot well. Yup those Barnes look nasty on paper indeed.

I got the new to me 25-06 sighted in yesterday. The rifle liked the Hornady 117 grain interlocks the best. That’s what I will hunt with this season. I also tried corlokts, Barnes TTSX and Nosler ballistic tips.

I’ll be interested to see how they preform on game. I’ll post up if I am fortunate enough to shoot a deer or pig with this rifle/ammo set up. Appreciate all the input.

Never had a .25/06…but they check a lot of boxes for us that mainly hunt in the southeast!
This is my first one, I had always been interested in having one, and when I found a good deal on the rifle I bought I jumped on it. I have to say I was impressed with it’s accuracy while sighting in and it’s performance one the 2 pigs and the doe I shot the other evening. There are plenty of affordable factory ammo options for the caliber as well. Based on what I found while researching the caliber and the performance I’ve gotten so far, I would not hesitate to use it on any deer or pig in the SE states, out to 400 yards, which is my personal limit for shooting at game. I’ll probably take it out west antelope hunting at some point as well.
