I believe southern beavers all go to the hatter market. You’re looking at $5-$15 a piece probably on the top end most likely. That’s after skinning at a minimum and probably going through the effort of fleshing and drying too

Well, I tore his dams out a week ago, and I have pretty much drained his swamp.

I have ZERO evidence of beaver activity since then.

I reckon he's gone again. Sure glad I didn't rush to set snares... ?

What y'all think is going on with him?

Beavers don't always build permanent dams. Also their territory can be huge depending on food. He might have other fires to put out. They will also have smaller satellite ponds that are seasonal. They're diligent workers. He'll come back if he's interested
