If it’s a ditch then it up like a gauntlet. Put 5-6 snares in a row every 15-20 ft apart. I caught a couple like that before
Did a bit of recon, and found two very well used crossings where he's getting into and out of my ditch. Looks like he's staying in the ditch to go back and forth to his two dam sites.
Already got a half a dozen spots picked out to nab him.
Now I just got to get the snares, get em set, and get lucky!!! ?
Watch you some YouTube, some of them guys are good
He knows who is coming for him and is on his best behavior!
He's getting friends together ??Well, I tore his dams out a week ago, and I have pretty much drained his swamp.
I have ZERO evidence of beaver activity since then.
I reckon he's gone again. Sure glad I didn't rush to set snares... ?
What y'all think is going on with him?
Just wait RR, he’ll be back. I had some to do that to me a few months ago ?Well, I tore his dams out a week ago, and I have pretty much drained his swamp.

I hate to kill Beavers cause I'm a Duck Hunter they have a place in the wild, and even there they cause problems. Trapped some in High School and learned how to shoot them in the dark long before the days of night vision and thermal. They are big problems on golf course lakes or areas near nice homes with landscapingHe was just trying to fix you and them 2 boys a place to shoot ducks . Realized you didn’t appreciate his effort and moved on ?
Are beaver pelts worth selling?
I know where there's a bunch of them on the old city reservoir. I see them all the time catching turtles.
