Blob target vs Morrell high roller

I don’t think they had a specific use. It’s excess carpet material that’s molded into look like a target. Years ago they look like a umpa lumpa… so people figured out you could shoot arrows into them and they held up extremely well. Then Said people decided to make a mold and market them as archery targets. I live up

If I’m not mistaken, always a distinct possibility, isn’t the blob intended for broadheads only?

They are for both field tips and broadheads. They will tell you to soften up the target with broad heads to make it easier to remove arrows with field tips. I bought 4 Blobs about 3 years ago. Best decision ever. Got tired of replacing targets.
