It was a bad day Tuesday as our Dog Cookie suddenly went down hill all of a sudden. We thought maybe it was just an upset stomach as she would not eat She did recover a bit Tuesday afternoon and into the night but Wednesday walking for her was difficult. After I fed her yesterday she lost the use of her back legs. Then last night the trip to the Vet that we dreaded most of all. Cookie slipped into eternity just after mid-night this morning. Rest easy old girl, we shall miss and love you forever.

Its a tuff thing to loose an old friend like that. Atleast she dint suffer long.

The best way to get over it. Is to go get another.

Yes it is i agree but we are elderly people here. We kinda think getting another dog at our age would not be fair to the animal. We will see though we hate to be without a dog we just don't want it to outlive us as we have no one to leave it to.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Its so tough to lose one. I have a female Chocolate Lab that is approaching 10. She is a very healthy and active 10 but I know that day is eventually coming and I regret it so.
